Jo has 23 years in the recruitment space with over 17 years recruiting & managing teams. She's is a former global recruitment sales trainer, has worked in the DEI space for 5+ years, is a HR World columnist and a regular guest & contributor to Recruiting Gym!

Coach & Trainer Jennie Child

Jennie has been in recruitment and talent for twenty-three years, during which time she built leading UK and Global internal hiring and talent teams. In 2019, she launched Balance. Having led hiring for international brands such as WPP Brand Consulting, Ogilvy & Mather, Omnicom Media Group, AKQA, and GroupM, she developed a strong desire to positively impact the world of Inclusive, Equitable, and Accessible Recruitment. Through Balance, she conducts audits and inclusive recruitment workshops for recruiters and hiring managers. Additionally, she collaborates with agency and internal recruitment teams to audit and reshape their approaches to hiring and connect recruitment to their broader Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy.
